AIMS & SCOPE
IJEEE is an online, open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to all electrical and electronic engineering aspects.
The journal offers authors a fast route to publication and the ability to share their research with the widest possible audience of engineers, scientists, professionals, and other interested people across the globe.
This multidisciplinary journal will appeal to anyone working in any area of electrical and electronic engineering in academia, industry, or government, including engineers, scientists, consultants, policy-makers, government officials, economists, and corporate organizations.
For acceptance in IJEEE, a manuscript must be scientifically and technically sound, with appropriate methodology and presentation, and reach conclusions adequately supported by the data.
Manuscripts are assessed on novelty or their perceived significance, importance, or impact. As such, IJEEE gladly welcomes manuscripts with a specialist or niche focus, as well as pilot studies or negative results.
With a broad scope, the journal provides a unified outlet for rigorously peer-reviewed and well-conducted scientific research. IJEEE publishes papers submitted directly to the journal.
Topics include, but are not limited to the following areas:
Control Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Machines, Signal Processing, Optical Engineering, Robotics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Automation and Control Engineering, Energy Management Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.

PEER REVIEW POLICY – OVERVIEW
The IJEEE journal is semi-annual, which published the first issue in June and the second in December.
Submitted articles are first screened by the Editor-in-Chief to see if they adhere to the journal’s Aims & Scope, and to assess whether they meet basic quality criteria. If these standards are met, then the Editor-in-Chief will enlist the assistance of at least three suitably qualified peer-reviewers to assess the paper’s quality and suitability for publication. The journal will give priority to quality papers that are accessible to a broad readership and discuss sustainable, state-of-the-art approaches to shaping the future of engineering.
After the reviews are received, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on the acceptability of the manuscript. If the paper has problems that can be corrected, the authors will be asked to revise the manuscript in response to the reviewer’s and editor’s comments. Authors are expected to return a revised manuscript within 4 – 8 weeks and the paper may be sent to reviewers again to judge if their comments have been adequately addressed. Once a manuscript is accepted, some minor additional editing may be required before publication.
The Journal strives to arrive at a decision promptly, but the most usual cause of delays is the availability of expert reviewers. If a lack of reviews is slowing down the process, the authors may be asked to suggest additional reviewers.
